The device is installed near the air conditioner condensing unit outside. 3. The switch will be triggered remotely to reduce your central air conditioning usage during peak demand times.  It’s unlikely that you’ll notice any difference in the comfort level of your home or business since the inside fan will continue to operate so that a change in temperature won’t be noticeable. 4. The technician will also set-up your new In-Home-Display. The display will provide you with real time, whole home data about your energy usage and hourly cost at time of use rates.
